Class of 2019 Graduates.

Congratulations to the Class of 2019 for achieving outstanding college outcomes! The Class earned admission to 145 colleges and universities across 17 states, with 65 percent of the class receiving scholarship or grant offers totaling $6.3 million.

One hundred percent of the Class of 2019 will attend college in the fall. Among their many accomplishments and impressive plans for the future, highlights include:

  • Over half of the Class of 2019 will attend a college or university in California, including 13 graduates headed to schools in the University of California System and 28 graduates enrolled in California State Universities.
  • More than one third of the Class will attend out-of-state colleges and universities (27 private colleges, 15 public colleges).
  • Twenty-three graduates will attend a Catholic college (in- and out-of-state).
  • Valedictorian Gisele de Araujo will major in Natural Sciences at the Minerva Schools at KGI - a unique program which includes four years of global immersion. She will live and study in San Francisco, London, Berlin, Buenos Aires, Hyderabad, Taipei and Seoul.
  • Catherine Campusano will attend Northwestern University for the highly-selective Honors Program in Medical Education (seven-year BA/MD program), and therefore, has already secured her spot in Northwestern's Feinberg School of Medicine.
  • Joceline Hinkley-Reck will attend the University of Massachusetts-Amherst where she will be a part of the Commonwealth Honors College.
  • Kathleen McBride will study at the University of Oregon, which offered her direct admission to the Lundquist College of Business - an opportunity given by invitation only.
  • Richard Reid will study Applied Mathematics at Harvard University. In April, Richard signed his Letter of Intent to row for the Harvard University Crew Team.
  • Through the new University of California, Berkeley and University of Hong Kong Dual Degree Program, Julia Verdickt will spend her first two years of undergrad at Hong Kong University and her last two years at UC Berkeley. At the end of her four years, she will have both a BA from UC Berkeley and a BSocSc from HKU.
