Alumni Visit Campus for Career Day 2017
Every March, SJND alumni and soon-to-be graduates come together for a purposeful, mutually rewarding afternoon at Career Day. The annual event begins with lunch for alumni and students in the Study Center, followed by an assembly in the gym where the panel of alumni professionals shares their wisdom. Throughout the Q&A, alumni shared experiences about what influenced their career choice, the role of mentors in college and career, best networking experiences to secure a new opportunity, things they would have done differently when embarking on their career path, and advice for outgoing seniors as they start making decisions leading to their future career.
Following the panel, student ambassadors escorted alumni to their classrooms for break out sessions, which students were encouraged to select based on their fields of interest.
