Cross Country Ranked Nationally, Wins League
The cross country team won the Tri-County Athletic League title and is poised to repeat its journey to the state championship on Nov. 30, earning statewide and national attention for the depth of talented runners on the men’s team, as well as a talented group of women runners.

The men swept the league and were undefeated, winning most races with a combination of experienced runners and freshmen placing in the top positions: Gabe Arias-Sheridan ’14, Michael Murphy ’15, Matthew Murphy ’15, Cooper Teare ’17, Chris Melendez ’14, Gavin Hill ’17 and Will Mein ’17.
At the Mt. Sac Invitational in Los Angeles, the men won against the top cross country teams in the state, and the women placed third, lead by Veronica Aquila ’15 and Isabela Reid ’14.
